Jenn Ditzhazy (00:00.718)
Hello and welcome to this episode of Receive. am your host, Jen DeCeasy. I am a premier transformation coach for women and I help women from all over the world manifest the lives of their dreams. And today I am excited to share with you about the 2026 Glow Up. So this idea came to me at the beginning of November, so about 10 days ago, when I decided that I wanted to start 2026 now.
I wanted to start at the beginning of November and make 2026 a 14 month year. I love the energy of new years. I love the excitement. I love that everybody is focused on their growth. They're focused on their goals. They're focused on becoming more. There's such a powerful, beautiful momentum to it. And I wanted to tap into that early.
And so I decided to create this glow up plan and start it now. So that way, by the time new year's rolls around, I feel like I'm ahead. I feel like I have a ton of time throughout 2026. The year goes by more slowly. And so, yeah, so that's what I want to share with you today is the different areas of life and what we can do in those areas of life to really feel our absolute best. I think it is so exciting to always be.
going after that next level, becoming your best self, overflowing into the expansiveness of all that you can be. so let's go through and let's look at these different areas and I'll share with you the different ways that I'm approaching it, the different things that I'm doing. And then you can implement whatever you want. You can leave and take whatever you want, but I hope this really helps you to set yourself up to feel really, really good about 2026 and really good about manifesting the
version of you that you want to be really embodying that woman who is just owning in every single category of her life who feels amazing about herself who feels fully in alignment on all levels and Who just knows that she is making incredible progress towards really living the life that she desires on all levels and you know, there's always that opportunity
Jenn Ditzhazy (02:11.714)
cut that out. Okay. So the first thing that I am starting with is I'm starting with looking at the implementation, right? How am I going to maintain and sustain this 2026 glow up for the next 14 months, right? How many of the keep myself motivated? How am I going to keep myself on track for it? And so the first thing that I'm going to do, and this is all going to get scheduled into my Google calendar. I use Google calendar. And then I just use the notes app on Mac and on the iPhone and
So the first thing is implementation. So every 90 days, so once a quarter, I'm going to schedule quarterly review rituals where it's like, I'm going to get a candle. I'm going to get a new pen, a nice notebook, a little latte or something delicious. And I'm going to reflect on the last 90 days and I'm going to assess my health, my finances, my aesthetics, my appearance, my relationships, the progress that I've made within my business and really look and see, you know, what could I do better? What could I change?
How can I evolve this plan? So really this plan that I've created, yes, it will be ongoing all year and it will also live and breathe and adjust as the year goes on. And you can do these review rituals more often. You can do them once a month if you want. I chose quarterly because I feel like that's enough time for me to really see changes and to accomplish a lot of the things underneath the headers. So.
That's really where I'm at. I'll celebrate my wins. I'll realign anything that needs to be realigned and just really reinvigorate myself on this process of continuously evolving into the more and more expanded version of myself. And then the next thing that I set up was morning and evening routines and rituals. Now I have these in place already, so this isn't going to be too different for me, but I did add a couple new things to it that I'll talk to you about.
And you can obviously evolve this to your own life, right? Like if you're a busy mom, you have three kids up with you in the morning, your morning routine is going to look different than mine is going to look where I don't have any kids, right? So evolve it for you, evolve it for your own life. So for me, morning routine that I'll have is my goal is to not go on my phone at all until I'm done with walking my dog. That's the last thing I do in my morning routine.
Jenn Ditzhazy (04:33.932)
I don't want to be on my phone. I want to be connected. I find, and I think research also supports this, that when you wake up in the morning, if you go on your phone immediately, your nervous system is significantly less regulated throughout the day than if you just don't go on your phone. And I've tested that on myself and it is very true. I feel so much calmer. I feel so much more at peace. So that's my goal is to not go on my phone, to sleep with my phone away from me in the bed. So the first thing I'll do when I wake up is no phone.
I will meditate. If you use a guided meditation, maybe putting it on your phone and then very quickly using it. I don't know. You'll have to figure that one out. The second one is I will get up after I meditate and I use my vibration plate and I'll do lymphatic drainage massage on my face. Now I added in the vibration plate recently because I feel so
much better when I wake up in the morning and I use that vibration plate. It gives me more energy and it really, really helps me to just clear out any of the stagnant energy as well as like the stagnant lip fluid in my body. And I truly feel like it makes my skin glow more. It helps me to just look a little bit more slim. It really is an amazing thing. And it's so good for your body. The more that we detox, the better our lymphatic fluid doesn't
move on its own. moves only through us moving it. And so I love the vibration plate. They're pretty inexpensive on Amazon. So that's something you can check out. I also find that it gives me a boost of energy when I do that in the morning. Then I do a facial lymphatic drainage massage. I just use one that I found on YouTube. You can use whatever you want. Then I'll get ready. Sometimes I'll eat breakfast. Sometimes I'll wait and then I'll walk my dog. And when I walk my dog,
I don't listen to anything. I connect to the universe, to God, and I just basically spend the whole time having a conversation. So it could be 30 minutes, it could be 45 minutes, but I'll just have that conversation and I'll really set my intentions for the day. I'll say, I'll ask for anything I need help with. I'll get clarity on anything I need to get clarity on. I'm really just having a two-way conversation and just really setting myself up.
Jenn Ditzhazy (06:53.614)
for an amazing day. And what I notice is that those walks give me the best days ever. When I don't go on those walks, I feel so different. I feel like not as clear. I feel like I don't receive as many downloads. I just don't feel as connected throughout the day. I don't feel like I'm as creative. It really is amazing. And the more that I've done them, I start to feel this energy that flows through my body.
And I'm really sensitive to energy. So you may feel this, you may not over time, you'll probably start to feel it, but I truly just feel myself pulling down energy. And that's what happens when you meditate is you pull down energy typically. Well, yeah, divine energy through your crown chakra, and it can flow throughout your body. And that's what I feel like I'm doing on those walks because my whole back heart chakra will just feel really activated and my crown will feel really, really activated.
So just something to notice, I would say that's probably the most important part of my morning routines, even more so than meditation. I really love that. This whole thing takes me about, I'd say two hours, maybe an hour and a half, depending on how quickly I'm moving. So yeah, that's what I have set up for my morning routine. I love it. It really works well for me. And then usually I'll start working or some days I'll go to a workout class after that, but usually I do.
my workouts in the evenings. So that's category one is the morning routine. The second category is aesthetic. So I love to feel good about how I look. I love to feel like I look like my best self. I really believe, and I haven't researched this, but I really believe as women, when we tap into beauty and we're all beautiful in our different ways, every single woman is so beautiful.
When you really allow yourself to see your own beauty and actually just get the judgments out of your head, you will be amazed by how beautiful you find yourself to be. And I find, feel significantly better when I put effort into how I look. And this is going to vary to different extents, right? Some women love putting in a ton of effort. Some women love putting in just a little bit of effort, but
Jenn Ditzhazy (09:12.99)
Even a little bit of effort is going to go a long way to you feeling really good in your body, to you elevating your confidence, to you connecting to yourself. Beauty and beautifying our vessel is part of the way that we show appreciation for our vessel. One of the qualities of the feminine is the ability to beautify things. And so for you, beautification could be yoga pants and a really cute little top or a cute little sweater.
Right, for someone else, it could be a dress. I love wearing dresses. They make me feel really good. So that's what it is for me. So that's kind of what this category is about is like beautification. So something I recently did is I bought this assessment. It was like a colorist assessment. You can find people on Instagram that do them. And what it does is it looks at the undertones of your skin and it recommends hair colors, makeup colors, clothing colors for you.
So part of what I'm doing in this area to glow up is I'm going to be dying my hair and I'm also gonna be shifting my makeup a little bit to align with it. So I'm excited for that. I really like making those big changes right before the new year starts. So maybe there's an area or a category where you can make a really big change. I mean, for you a really big change, right? Could be anything, but for me dying my hair, I'm gonna dye it, it's pretty blonde right now. I'm gonna dye it brown with some highlights.
is gonna feel like a super big change and it's gonna help me feel like that new version of me, that new chapter. And it's not that I don't love who I am now. It's not that I wanna change anything. It's just, I honestly find evolution so exciting and so invigorating and so fun that I think you can hold both versions of yourself, your current version and this new version of you in equal measure with equal love.
and just decide that you want to evolve. It doesn't mean anything about who you currently are. It doesn't mean that you aren't worthy as you are because you are. It just means I want to grow and I want to evolve, right? I want to change my hair color. I want to change my morning routine. I want to do these fun things. So that's something I'm going to do. It's really fun. I highly recommend it. I found it super fun to get that color assessment and just look on Instagram and search like color stylist or something like that. It's like you get your seasonal palette.
Jenn Ditzhazy (11:33.294)
So that's something I'm going to be doing. I'm also going to be looking up on YouTube and learning new makeup tutorials. I think that'll be really fun to do over the holidays and things are a little bit slower and just practice learning new makeup tutorials. I was a really big tomboy actually for most of my twenties. I didn't really wear any makeup. I didn't dye my hair. I dressed in athletic clothes all the time. And so for me, it's going to be really fun to get to explore that and tap into the art and the artistry of makeup.
So maybe there's something like that for you that you're like, huh, you know, that could be kind of fun for me to play with makeup or that could be kind of fun for me to play with new colors and wear new colors or dye my hair a slightly different color, right? Allow yourself to expand and evolve. Give yourself permission to be a new version of you as often as you want. That's part of the beauty of the feminine is that we're always evolving. are so
multifaceted, are so interesting when we allow ourselves to follow the things that light us up. We're not meant to be men, right? We're not meant to be the masculine where we focus on one thing and we have one outcome and we're single focused. We are diffuse awareness. We have this beautiful capacity to follow different paths that light us up. So that's something I'm going to do. I'm also going to go to Sephora and I'm going to, you can pay, I think it was $75 that I paid and
they will give you a makeup assessment where they will basically show you like, this is how you should do your makeup for your bone structure. So honestly, isn't that fun? I'm really excited for these things. So I'll keep you guys posted on how this goes and how fun it will be. Another thing I'm gonna do for this is I'm gonna start doing hair masks twice a week. And what that means is before I go to bed, I'm just gonna soak my hair in a deep conditioner.
or like a hair mask and then sleep in it. And then when I wake up, I'll shower it out and that helps to just keep your hair super, super healthy and nice. And I also think of all of this category as like just self care and self love and being devoted to myself, right? Of feeling really, really good within my being. And it makes me super duper excited. So those are the, some of the things I'm to do in that category. So then let's look at style.
Jenn Ditzhazy (13:57.004)
So the dressing of our vessel, right? We have our mental, emotional, spiritual, and our physical. And I think the physical is really fun to play with. I don't really talk about this that often, but it is a really big aspect of how I care for myself is through my clothes, through how I take care of myself, and also health, which I'll talk about next. So style, what I'm going to do is I'm going to use that colorist assessment that I got.
and I'm going to make a Pinterest board of new styles and clothing that I want to explore. And throughout the year, I'll just slowly kind of buy myself some new capsule items that will reflect these new colors that are complimentary for my own skin tone. So that's something I'm going to do that I think will be really fun. And I think you can explore that too of just what are some ways that you can kind of change up your style a little bit to feel more like this new version of you.
Right? And I really encourage you to get a couple pieces of clothing that just feel super, super good when you wear them. And they could be something a little more luxury. They could be something that's just a really nice fabric or a really beautiful color, but something that when you put it on, you just feel like a queen. Something that just makes you feel amazing. I just bought this blue dress and it's this beautiful velvet with these like open sleeves.
And I love it. When I put that dress on, I feel like a different woman and I feel so amazing. And that's the power we have as women is clothing and shoes and these kinds of things allow us to tap into different aspects of ourselves, different modes, different frequencies. So I encourage you to play with that. Then the next category is health and fitness.
And this is really just routines that I'm gonna have. And I have the basics like walking a certain amount of steps a day. I usually go for about 7K. I feel like 10K kind of takes a really long time. Then I exercise five days a week. These are things I already do. Another thing I'm gonna add in is I'm gonna do a parasite cleanse. I did one earlier in the year and I absolutely loved it. It was not easy, but I really enjoyed it. If you've never explored
Jenn Ditzhazy (16:15.246)
Parasites, I'm not going to talk about it on this podcast, but I encourage you to look up other podcasts that talk about it because Pretty much everybody in the Western world has parasites according to these people I don't know all I know is last time I did it. I definitely did have parasites So it was really valuable for me to do because they're really easy to get they're in food Especially if you eat raw foods like sushi things like that or you eat uncooked vegetables
it's easy to get them. And so doing this kind of detox not only releases the physical, but it also is an energetic release as well. And I really enjoyed that. I felt so light. I felt so clear after I did it. So in other cultures, they will do this multiple times a year. So something to think about, just gonna put that out there. And then another thing that I...
have started doing is once a month I get a lymphatic drainage massage professionally. So this is something that I absolutely love. is so calming and it again clears out any stagnancy within the body. Honestly, oftentimes I feel like we feel stagnancy in our minds because we just have a lot of gunk built up in our bodies, right? We have old emotions, we have stored.
chemicals from the environment, from our water, those kinds of things that get stuck in our bodies. And the more that we can move them out, the more we will feel significantly, significantly better. Another way that you can do this is also just getting a dry brush and dry brushing before the shower. Just kind of Google that. You can also do this through a sauna or a steam room. That's something I have started doing twice a week. I used to do it once in a while. Now I'm committing to doing it twice a week to really help that flow within my body.
I really personally find the more that I encourage detox in my body, the better I feel mentally, the better I feel emotionally because especially as women, especially if you are pre menopausal or before menopause, right? You're a menstruating woman. I don't know how you say that for, but if you're menstruating, what can also happen is you can get a lot of estrogen that doesn't fully get detoxified from your body.
Jenn Ditzhazy (18:34.914)
that probably can happen during menopause too. So that's why I'm really also big on these detoxifying rituals. Before I did all of this spiritual coaching that I'm doing now with my clients, I did a health coaching certification. I was really, really, really into health. So it is something that I think is hugely important, how we take care of our bodies for our energy levels and our ability to raise our vibration. We can't separate the two. We have to really keep them united. So
I really hope you guys are enjoying this podcast. know it's a little bit different than my usual kind of podcasts, which are much more spiritual. This is a little more tactical. So I hope you're really enjoying it. And if you leave me a review on this podcast episode, either on Apple or on Spotify and screenshot it and then message it to me on Instagram at alignment with Jen, then I will send you the PDF that I have of all of the stuff that I'm doing. So it's way more in depth.
So if you're a nerd like me and you want to just kind of like nerd out on optimizing your life, leave that comment, send me a photo of it on Instagram. It'll take you probably two minutes and then I'll hit you back with the PDF of literally my super extensive plan. Okay, let's do it. So my next category is confidence and skills. So something I started doing recently, I just started last week is toast masters. I was really terrified of it because it's very, very structured. It's very rigid.
which doesn't really super, isn't really my vibe. And I loved it. So I'm going to keep doing that. And that's going to really help me boost my ability to speak publicly, boost my ability to not say and like so much. So that's a skill that I'm working on. I'm also going to join a local entrepreneurs organization because I want to meet more entrepreneurs. So putting myself out there in new ways to develop new skills and confidence.
And then another area of my life is going to be relationships. So I really want to increase my understanding and my presence within relationships. So I'm actually doing a book study on this book called Rethinking Love by Monica Berg. And I'm doing it with one of my mentors. And so I'm going to read it and then her and I are going to meet and every two weeks we're going to talk about it.
Jenn Ditzhazy (20:55.776)
So I'm very excited for that. think that'll deepen my understanding of relationships a lot. So that's kind of what I'm doing in that area. Currently, I'll probably add some more things. Then for mindset and consciousness. So one thing that I'm going to be doing is no longer scrolling at all. I really find that scrolling is so toxic because you get all these random, like random things and they just will seep into your mind and
I don't like it. I don't want that in my mind. I don't want to just be at the whim of some algorithm for what I see. So I'm going to not be scrolling anymore and or very, very minimally or only accounts that I actually follow. That way it's more curated. I don't even know if you can do that anymore on Instagram, but I'm really going to reduce it because I don't like what that does to my subconscious mind and that it puts gunk in there that I don't
I work so hard to un-gunk it, I don't want to gunk it up. So that's one thing I'm going to be doing. And then another thing I'm going to be doing is right now I do one rewiring session a week from my own programs. use my own rewiring vault that my clients have and I use it. I'm going to start doing two of those sessions a week. So I'm going to up my rewiring because I think it's super awesome and fun. And I feel like it always brings magic and miracles into my life.
when I clear out those deeper seated, limiting beliefs around consciousness and around money and around relationships and just the old programming from my past. And I really architect my inner world. So that's what I'm going to be doing there. And then another thing I'm going to do too, is I'm going to make a list of all the books that I want to read in the new year. And maybe I'll share that with you guys on Instagram. And I am going to be slowly working through all of those books. So,
That's what I'm doing in all of those categories.
Jenn Ditzhazy (22:59.438)
And then business wise, I guess I'll share with you guys a little bit about what I'll be doing business wise, uh, in case you have a business and you want to learn about it too. I am going to be basically focusing.
Jenn Ditzhazy (23:14.712)
So yeah, so those are the big categories. I didn't go into everything for the sake of time, but if you would like again, that PDF of this, of everything much more in detail, then you can leave a comment or a review on this podcast episode, either on Spotify or on Apple, message it to me, screenshot of it, and then I will send you the PDF in exchange. So I hope that you love this. I hope that it was super helpful for you and it got you excited for.
the new year and all of these fun ways that we can create changes in our lives. Even if you do one of them or you do your own version of these things, I hope it gave you some categories to think about and look at. And yeah, I will see you in our next episode. Bye.
